Garden Route Cannabis Cup 2023
A community hall in Plettenberg Bay over a winter weekend. The event ran; the placings were not published.
Garden Route Cannabis Cup, 2023 · 5–6 August 2023 · Piesang Valley Community Hall, Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape
Held over the first weekend of August in a community hall in Plettenberg Bay — which is worth picturing, because it is a long way from the trade-show floors the international cups are held on, and closer to what a cup was originally for.

What a placing here is worth
A cup result describes one batch, judged once, by the people who happened to be judging. It is a good reason to look at what a grower is doing now; it is not a promise about a jar in front of you today, which may be a different season, a different cut and a different cure.
If you want the fuller version of that argument, see Cannabis cups, and what a win actually means — and if you would rather learn to score a jar yourself, the five-minute method is the place to start.

This archive records what has been published, with its sources, and says so plainly where a result is missing rather than guessing at it. If you have results we do not, tell the club and they will be added.
